RIFFING OFF OF THE MATRIX’S ICONIC “RED PILL BLUE PILL” THEME, WE ARE TWISTING THIS IDEA INTO ONE OF OUR OWN. THE GALLERY WILL BE SPLIT INTO A RED AND BLUE SIDE. THE RED PILL REPRESENTS THE TRUTH, REAL LIFE. THE RED SIDE OF THE GALLERY WILL BE REALISTIC PIECES- CONCRETE PEOPLE, PLACES, AND THINGS THAT ARTISTS’ HAVE CAPTURED.
THE BLUE PILL ALLOWS YOU TO FALL BACK ASLEEP AND DRIFT BACK TO THE WORLD OF DISILLUSION. THE BLUE SIDE OF THE GALLERY WILL CONTAIN SURREALISTIC PAINTINGS, SCULPTURES, GRAPHIC DESIGN- ARTISTS’ PERCEPTIONS OF REALITY.
WHICH SIDE WILL YOU BE DRAWN TO?
Shrimp and grits. Light drinks. Art show- silent auction style.
The perfect place to stop by on a Sunday afternoon to browse art and spark a conversation. Pick up holiday gifts and maybe even something for yourself. Curated in collaboration with Kuali Studio, we hosted a wholesome daytime show complete with mimosas.
